  • Service messages: quote follow-ups, appointment confirmations and reminders, "on our way" alerts, before-and-after photos, invoices, payment receipts and review requests.
  • Marketing messages (separate opt-in only): seasonal reminders, membership offers and promotions. We only send these if you specifically agreed to marketing texts.
Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your service activity, typically 2–8 messages per job.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will get one confirmation text and no further messages. Reply START to opt back in.

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We may share your number with service providers (such as our scheduling and messaging software) only to deliver our own messages to you.

2. Phone Calls and Email

By giving us your phone number or email, you agree we may contact you about your quote, appointment and account.
  • Calls. We may call you from our main line or a team member's phone (including our office assistant or sales representative) about quotes, scheduling and service. We do not use autodialed or prerecorded marketing calls without your prior written consent.
  • Voicemail. We may leave voicemails with appointment details. Tell us if you prefer we don't leave details on a shared line.
  • Call recording. Calls may be recorded for quality, training and record-keeping. Pennsylvania requires all-party consent, so we will tell you at the start of any recorded call. Staying on the line means you consent.
  • Email. We send quotes, invoices, receipts and service updates by email. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link, and we honor requests within 10 business days.
  • Do Not Call. Ask us at any time to stop calling for marketing purposes, and we'll add you to our internal do-not-call list. You'll still get calls tied to an active job or unpaid balance.
  • Response times. We aim to respond within 1 business day. Messages received evenings, weekends or holidays are answered the next business day.

3. Estimates, Quotes and Pricing

Quotes are valid for 30 days and are based on the property as described or measured.
  • Online and phone estimates are based on the information you provide, aerial imagery and photos. If the property differs on arrival (larger size, extra stories, heavier buildup, hidden areas), we will tell you the adjusted price before starting. You may accept or decline.
  • On-site estimates are firm for the scope listed, unless conditions change or you add work.
  • Added work requested on the day of service is priced and approved by you before we do it.
  • Taxes and fees are shown on your quote or invoice where applicable.
  • Price changes. We may update our prices at any time. Changes don't affect a quote you've already accepted within its valid period, or a membership rate lock.

4. Scheduling, Weather and Cancellations

You may cancel or reschedule free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice.
  • Arrival windows. We give an arrival window, not an exact time. Earlier jobs, traffic and site conditions can shift it, and we'll text or call if we're running late.
  • Weather. We may reschedule for rain, freezing temperatures, high winds or other unsafe conditions, at no charge to you. Certain services (such as sealing and soft washing) have temperature and dry-time requirements we follow.
  • Late cancellations. Cancelling with less than 48 hours' notice may result in a fee of [$75 or 25% of the job, whichever is less].
  • Lockouts and no-access. If we arrive and can't perform the work (locked gates, no water access, vehicles blocking the work area, aggressive pets loose), a trip fee of [$100] may apply.
  • Our right to cancel. We may cancel or stop work if conditions are unsafe, if the scope is materially different from the quote, or if we're treated with abuse or hostility. You only pay for work completed.
  • Door-to-door sales. If you sign an agreement of $25 or more with one of our representatives at your home, you may cancel it within 3 business days under the FTC Cooling-Off Rule and Pennsylvania law, and we'll provide the required cancellation notice.

5. Your Responsibilities

To keep the job safe and on time, please have the property ready before we arrive.
  • Water and power. Provide a working outdoor water spigot with adequate flow, and an outdoor outlet where needed. Water and electricity used are at your expense.
  • Close up the house. Close and lock all windows, doors, vents and pet doors. We are not responsible for water entering through open, failed or poorly sealed windows, doors, vents, light fixtures or outlets.
  • Clear the area. Move vehicles, patio furniture, grills, planters, toys and fragile items away from work areas. If we move items, we do so with care but are not liable for damage to them.
  • Pets and people. Keep pets and children indoors and away from work areas until we finish.
  • Tell us what we can't see. Let us know about irrigation heads, underground lines, delicate plants, loose siding, failing paint, prior damage, recent sealing or painting, and any security or camera systems.
  • Access. Make sure gates are unlocked and HOA or property manager approvals are in place. Approvals and HOA rules are your responsibility.

6. Service Results and Limitations

We use professional equipment and the cleaning method suited to each surface, but some stains and conditions cannot be fully removed.
  • Stains we can't guarantee. Rust, oil, paint, tire marks, battery acid, fertilizer burns, oxidation, hard water deposits, tree sap, deep-set organic staining and etching may lighten but not disappear.
  • Pre-existing conditions. Cleaning can reveal or worsen existing problems such as loose or brittle siding, failing paint or caulk, oxidized gutters, cracked or spalling concrete, worn sealant, deteriorated mortar, rotted wood and failed window seals. We are not responsible for these conditions or for damage caused by them.
  • Cleaning solutions. We use professional detergents and soft-wash solutions and take precautions such as pre-wetting and rinsing plants. Some plant stress or discoloration can still happen, especially in heat or drought.
  • Regrowth. Mold, mildew, algae and lichen can return over time depending on shade, moisture and climate. Results are not permanent.
  • Sealing. Sealed surfaces need dry time; stay off them for the period we tell you (typically 24 hours for foot traffic and 48–72 hours for vehicles). Sealer appearance can vary with the surface's age, porosity and prior products.
  • Concrete and pavers. Cleaning can show the "zebra" or "wand" lines or color differences that were hidden under dirt on older surfaces. Joint sand may need replacement after paver cleaning.

7. Payment Terms

Payment is due on the day of service unless your invoice says otherwise.
  • Methods. We accept credit and debit cards, ACH bank transfer, check and cash. Card payments may carry a processing fee where permitted by law.
  • Card on file. Some services (memberships, holiday lighting, large jobs) may require a card on file. You authorize us to charge it for the agreed amount when the work is completed or on the agreed schedule.
  • Deposits. Jobs over [$1,000], sealing projects and permanent lighting may require a deposit of [25–50%] to book. Deposits are refundable if you cancel with 48+ hours' notice, minus any custom materials already ordered.
  • Late payment. Unpaid balances 15 days past due may be charged a late fee of [1.5% per month, or $25, whichever is greater]. Returned checks incur a [$35] fee.
  • Collections. If an account goes to collections, you agree to pay reasonable collection costs and attorney's fees to the extent allowed by law.
  • Commercial accounts may be invoiced Net 15 or Net 30 by written agreement.

8. Satisfaction Guarantee and Damage Claims

If you're not happy with an area we cleaned, tell us within 72 hours and we'll come back to re-clean it at no charge.
  • How to report. Call, text or email us with photos within 72 hours of service. We'll schedule a return visit to address any missed or unsatisfactory areas within the original scope.
  • What the guarantee covers. Workmanship on the services listed on your invoice. It does not cover the limitations in Section 6, weather or new dirt after service, or work outside the original scope.
  • Damage claims. Report any damage you believe we caused within 72 hours, with photos, before making repairs. We need the chance to inspect it. Repairs made without our inspection may not be reimbursed.
  • Our response. If we caused the damage, we will repair it, pay for a qualified repair, or credit your account, at our choice. Claims are handled through our liability insurance where appropriate.
  • Refunds. We don't issue refunds for completed work, but we will always make it right through a re-clean or credit as described above.

9. Membership Plans (RJ Essentials, RJ Complete, RJ Signature)

Memberships renew automatically each year unless you cancel at least 30 days before renewal.
  • What's included. Each tier's services, visit frequency and benefits (such as rate locks and priority scheduling) are listed in your membership agreement.
  • Billing. Memberships are billed [annually / monthly] to your card on file, starting on your enrollment date.
  • Rate lock. Your service pricing is locked for the membership term. If your membership lapses, current pricing applies when you rejoin, and founding member status cannot be restored.
  • Scheduling. Included visits must be used within the membership year and do not roll over.
  • Cancelling. Cancel any time by calling, texting or emailing us. If you cancel mid-term after receiving discounted or included services, we may charge the difference between standard pricing and what you paid.
  • Property changes. Memberships apply to the address on your agreement. If you sell or move, contact us to transfer or close the plan.

10. Holiday Lighting

We offer two holiday lighting options: leased Temporary Lights and installed Permanent Lights.
Temporary Lights (lease)
  • The lights, clips, timers and accessories remain RJ Pressure Washing property. You lease them for the season.
  • Your lease includes installation (October–November), in-season maintenance, takedown (January–February) and storage until next year.
  • Service calls. Report outages by call or text. We aim to fix them within [48–72 hours] during the season. Damage from weather, animals, landscapers or tampering may be billed if parts must be replaced.
  • Installation dates are scheduled in order of booking and may shift with weather.
  • Takedown. We will remove lights by the end of February, weather permitting. Lights left up past that date at your request may incur an extra fee.
  • Payment is due at booking or installation, as listed on your agreement. Leases are non-refundable once installation is complete.
Permanent Lights
  • We install the Ascend permanent lighting system, priced per linear foot. We measure your home on site before you pay, and your quote is based on that measurement.
  • Deposit. A deposit is required to order materials, with the balance due at installation.
  • Warranty. Permanent installations include a 7-year workmanship warranty. Product components are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Neither covers damage from roof work, gutter replacement, storms, animals, power surges or modifications by others.
  • Ownership. Permanent systems become your property once paid in full.
  • Your home. You confirm the roofline, fascia and soffits are in sound condition. We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing deterioration.
  • Electrical. You must provide an outdoor outlet or existing power source near the install point. Any electrical work beyond that is billed separately or referred to a licensed electrician.

11. Photos, Video and Reviews

We take before-and-after photos and video of our work and may use them in our marketing unless you ask us not to.
  • What we show. Photos and video focus on the surfaces we cleaned. We will not publish your house number, street sign, license plates, people or your name without your permission.
  • Opting out. Tell us before or after service and we will not use your property's images in marketing. We may still keep them privately for job records and quality control.
  • Drones. If we use a drone for estimates or photos, we follow FAA rules and only fly over your property with your permission.
  • Reviews. We may ask you for an online review after service. Reviews are always optional, and we never offer payment or discounts in exchange for positive reviews.

12. Liability, Insurance and Legal

RJ Pressure Washing is fully insured, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service involved.
  • Insurance. We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation as required by law. Certificates of insurance are available on request.
  • Limitation of liability. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages (such as lost use, lost income or emotional distress). This does not limit liability for our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or anything else that cannot be limited under Pennsylvania law.
  • Indemnification. You agree to hold us harmless from claims arising from conditions you did not disclose, from your own actions, or from work you directed against our recommendation.
  • Independent work. Our employees and subcontractors act on behalf of RJ Pressure Washing. Please don't arrange separate paid work directly with our team members.
  • Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Northampton County, Pennsylvania. We'd always rather resolve it with a phone call first.
  • Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. The version posted on our website when you book applies to that job.
  • Severability. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • Entire agreement. These terms, together with your quote, invoice and any signed agreement, make up the full agreement between us. If they conflict, the signed agreement controls.
